Symmetry Software Announces New Minimum Wage Finder

Quickly and Accurately Identify Minimum Wage Requirements

Symmetry Software is excited to announce the launch of a stand-alone minimum wage lookup tool. The new Minimum Wage Finder helps companies ensure employees are paid the minimum wage when appropriate, helping to avoid legal issues and fines by remaining compliant.

Stay up-to-date on minimum wage data for all authority types (for example, state, city, federal, and more) along with the effective date, job type, job function, and other essential details that correspond to each rate.

Keep Up With Ever-Changing Wage Rates

The new version of the Minimum Wage Finder has an API and web-based Portal interface.

  • Track minimum wage rates by state, city, job type, job function, effective date, and more.
  • Enter a work address or geocoordinates to pinpoint individual employees' exact minimum wage rates by latitude and longitude. It also returns any exemption thresholds and additional limits.
  • Get access to past, present, and future wage rate changes to accurately budget the cost of compensation.
  • Keep up with minimum wage rate increases ahead of time for your strategic compensation forecasting and hiring projection planning purposes.

Mark your calendar for National Payroll Week!

Join us to help celebrate National Payroll Week (NPW), September 5-9! There are plenty of ways to get involved with NPW this year.

The first way to get involved is by taking the annual “Getting Paid In America” survey. One lucky person who takes the survey will receive a bonus paycheck and their dream vacation. Results from the survey help the APA understand employees’ concerns and preferences about payroll and wage payment trends.

You can also get involved by signing up to become a Money Matters National Education Day (MMNED) volunteer. MMNED volunteers promote financial literacy by teaching paycheck basics to young adults in their communities. All volunteers receive an easy to follow MMNED curriculum and resources to secure a place to teach.

No matter how you celebrate National Payroll Week, be sure to connect online by following the official NPW hashtag #PayrollWeek across social media. Have a great NPW!
